Music room
Our music room is located in our smaller building. The room is filled with a wide range of instruments for the children to explore, including a drums, xylophone, recorders, keyboards, shakers, guitars, piano and many more.
We also have a karaoke machine with microphones, giving the children the chance to sing along, perform, and accompany themselves with instruments — building confidence while having lots of fun.
Why is music important for children?
Research has shown that music helps develop children’s language skills, self-esteem, listening skills, math skills, and helps stimulate children’s brain connections. Music can help relieve stress, make transitions easier and greatly encourages children’s creativity.
