Music room
We were delighted to unveil our brand new music room in March 2014 in our smaller building. We have an extensive range of instruments for the children to explore and try i.e a drum kit, a xylophone, recorders, keyboards, shakers, guitars, and many more. We also host a karaoke machine with microphone for the children to sing a long with and play their instruments with too.
Why is music important for children?
Research has shown that music helps develop children’s language skills, self-esteem, listening skills, math skills, and helps stimulate children’s brain connections. Music can help relieve stress, make transitions easier and greatly encourages children’s creativity.
