Pre-School
The final nursery stage is here — your little ones are growing up fast, and our preschool stage continues to feed their knowledge, curiosity, and imagination.
We have two preschool rooms within our setting. One is based in the larger building and operates from 7:30am to 6:30pm. Our second preschool is in the smaller building and runs as a sessional preschool from 9:00am to 3:00pm during term time only. Both preschools offer government-funded places and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

At this magical age, children have such enthusiasm to learn and develop. At PiXieS, we aim to capture this enthusiasm by planning activities based on the children’s interests and ideas. All activities are accessible for independent choice, helping children build confidence and decision-making skills.
Within preschool, we also encourage independence through daily routines such as dressing, serving food, pouring drinks, toileting, and learning to manage conflicts and take turns with their friends.
We gently introduce early letter sounds through everyday practice. Each day we take time to greet our friends, talk about the days of the week, discuss the weather, and enjoy our welcome time – helping build communication, confidence, and early literacy skills.
